A one-stop T56 engine overhaul and test facility

We operate the region’s most comprehensive T56 engine heavy maintenance facility, delivering a total service from overhaul through to final testing. A complete range of on-site support services complement this facility. These support services include non-destructive testing, dynamic balancing, electroplating and precision machining.

Key services

Key services include: complete engine overhaul, modular overhaul (reduction gearbox, turbine and compressor), engine and reduction gearbox performance testing, fuel system component overhaul, engine support unit repair or rebuild including full wire harness manufacture, modifications/bulletins, documentations and certifications.

Our capability covers the T56 A7, A10, A14, A15 and 501 models.

Materials sourcing

We maintain supply agreements for sourcing both OEM and PMA T56 engine parts. This includes an ordering agreement with Aviall.

T56 METS

Test facilities

Included in our overhaul service is a complete engine test programme using a modified Mobile Engine Test Stand (METS). Our METS includes enhanced engine performance data capture instrumentation and we also have a reduction gearbox test rig.

Customers

We undertake regular engine overhauls for two of the region’s most discerning T56 users – the Australian and New Zealand Air Forces. We have also carried out engine repairs for the Armada de Chile, the US Navy and the US Air National Guard.

We regularly attend the Rolls Royce T56 Users Conference.
