Aviation paint requirements is a highly specialised field, and one that SAFE Air has years of experience in providing to our customers. In our purpose-built paint booth, SAFE Air can cater for all types of aircraft paint requirements for both civil and military customers, in a closely controlled environment.

Capabilities

Our services includes the capability to strip and repaint aircraft and all components from all aspects of aviation including helicopter parts. We use both chemical stripping and the environmentally friendly option of plastic media stripping, and we offer epoxy primers.

We are able to take care of component resprays in our state-of-the-art heated booth. As part of this, we have the capability to include composite reconstruction of aviation components. SAFE Air’s experienced paint technicians finish aircraft in two-pack polyurethane paints, which is available from various manufacturers depending on customer requirements. Although we specialise in paint services for the aviation industry, SAFE Air’s paint shop regularly accepts commercial customers. SAFE Air is fully certified to cover all aspects of aviation painting.

Integration
Because SAFE Air’s paint shop is an integral part of our large aviation operation, our customers can easily combine their paint requirements with any other aspect of aviation services or overhauls they may require, without the need for shipping off-site.
