Since 1999, we have been the significant subcontract partner to Kaman Aerospace for introducing the Seasprite SH-2G airframe into the Australian and New Zealand battle orders.

Key services

Key services for this airframe include: airframe assembly, heavy maintenance, group servicings (PDM), strip and paint, major structural repairs, avionic upgrades, manufacture of replacement parts, maintenance programme updates, modification embodiment and training, main and tail rotor inspections and repairs.

Recent Seasprite projects

• Design and assembly engineers operating the Kaman Aerospace International Support Centre.
• Design of weapons pylon and avionics (Kaman Aerospace).
• Manufacture of weapons pylon, wiring looms, control rods, horizontal stabilizers, PGSE and floatation gear.
• Refurbishment of doors, tail rotors and pylons (Kaman Aerospace).

Support agreements

• Safe Air is licensed by Kaman Aerospace to manufacture Seasprite airframe parts.
• We have an agreement with Kaman Aerospace for OEM spares support.
